2016 EDF Annual Report
Each year, the EDF fundraising department–Development–relied on the internal creative team to design and produce its Annual Report for major donors. As Creative Director, my role was to help a longtime designer think differently, and enable fresh, new approaches to convey a given year’s theme.
This issue was going to be sent to donors a few weeks after the 2016 presidential election. Prior to the election, we predicted that the results would signal new hope for children and environmental issues. When the election swung differently, the team scrambled to make edits through the stories and develop a new introduction to the publication; but in keeping with the EDF brand of optimism, decided to stick with this future-forward cover image.
